Originally purchased in the 1940s by Sir Ernest Lee-Steere, the farm began as a thoroughbred horse stud, raising five Derby winners, including the celebrated Heroicity and Eurythmic. Eurythmic remains a proud part of Western Australia's heritage, with its legacy preserved in the Western Australian Museum.

For the past twenty years, Limestone Park has been home to the Agnew family, who have carefully transformed the property into a lush garden oasis. The farm is teeming with animals and birds, with natural underground springs keeping the grounds vibrant year-round. Most of the farm's structures have been lovingly built with repurposed or recycled materials, each with its own unique story, much like the gifted plants and animals that grace the property.
